A Little About Camvine

At Camvine we believe it should be easy to show live and compelling content on displays.

Camvine shares the values of web 2.0 such as openness, accessibility and making the complex simple and affordable.

Camvine, or Cambridge Visual Networks Limited, was set up by Dr Quentin Stafford-Fraser and Dr Michael Dales in 2006. 

From inception we have had a ‘drag and drop’ style CODA web-service, with ‘plug and play’ hardware and an open API to link with other services. 

At Camvine, we want to make the complex very simple and harness the power of the internet. 

We continue to make it easy for our users to link their CODA digital signage platform (our ‘plumbing for pixels’) to other services like Google Apps and SharePoint. We want to make it easy for everyone to show live and compelling information on displays.

So far everything we have done is just the tip of the iceberg ...
