A trio of CODA updates
CODA has gained a few new features recently, none of which is deserving of a post of its own. Here's a round up of some noteworthy additions.
Control over ticker speeds
Introduced following user feedback, you can now set the speed for any ticker in your content library. Double click the ticker or choose the speed option when you add ticker content. Spare a thought for your readers if you choose the 'fastest' option.
CODA apps and telling the time
When you add content, you now have the option of adding a CODA app. We expect to be adding more and more apps to the list, which observant readers will notice is a revamp of the old 'Other web services' option. The Camvine clock is a new addition which is probably best illustrated by a photo!

Web page scaling
On a slightly more technical front, we've made an improvement to the way CODA displays show web pages when screen space is limited. You won't notice if your screens are large and you don't use layouts, but if you do, CODA should make better use of your pixels. If the area containing the webpage is smaller than 1024 by 768 pixels, then the content is scaled to fit inside - otherwise, CODA behaves as it did previously, and the web page is rendered to appear as it would do in a web browser window of the same size.
